Awakening Ministries International (AMI) is committed to protecting your privacy. 3. Personal Information We Collect and How We Use It

AMI collects certain information from and about the users through our website, donation platform, and texting platform, depending on how you interact with us:

  • Visitors to our website may be permitted to register for certain services, such as regular email updates. When you register, we will request personal information such as name, address, email, and telephone number.

  • When you donate, you will be prompted to provide personal information such as name, address, email, telephone number, and payment information to complete the transaction. 

  • Signing up or texting to register to receive prayer and field updates requires a name and phone number. Mobile opt-in, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS communication purposes will not be shared with any third party or affiliates for marketing purposes..

We will send messages to users including: announcements and reminders; responses to prayer requests and stories from individuals; notes of encouragement; answers to questions received; message series with devotional or other content; and periodic surveys. Periodically, we may also send messages asking users about donating towards the mission of the ministry. Any charitable donation messages will direct users to a separate third party to collect all donations. Donations payable through a user’s wireless carrier bill will not be not permitted. 

 

We will not disclose personally identifiable information we collect from you to third parties without your permission, except to the extent necessary, including:

 

  • To fulfill your service requests for products or services.

  • To protect ourselves, our customers, or our vendors from liability or to defend our rights, including investigations of fraud or misconduct.

  • To third parties who have agreed in writing to maintain such information in confidence and use such information solely for the performance of our services.

  • To respond to legal process or comply with the law, including subpoenas. â€‹

4. Accessing Information

We will provide you with the means to ensure that personally identifiable information in your account file is correct and current. You may request to review this information by sending an email to info@awakeningmintl.org.

5. How Do I Withdraw My consent?

If after you opt-in or after having not initially taken an opportunity to opt-out, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at info@awakeningmintl.org.

6. How to Correct, Update, or Delete Your Information

If you would like to: access, correct, amend or delete any personally identifiable information we store about you, register a complaint, or simply want more information, contact us at info@awakeningmintl.org.

TEXT MESSAGES

  1. ​You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”, “END”, “QUIT”, “CANCEL” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the 10-digit telephone number. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, text “START” to opt back in and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. ​

  2. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can "Reply HELP for help", or you can get help directly at info@awakeningmintl.org

  3. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  4. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency will vary and will 

  5. Also depend on the number of times you contact us or request a response. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no system is completely secure, and we can't guarantee the safety of your data, especially when it's being sent over the Internet. Your personal information may be stored, processed, or accessed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our partners operate. By using our website and third-party affiliates, you agree to this.

We do not share and /or publicize aggregate and/or de-identified information shared with third parties and the public.

AMI has the discretion to occasionally update this privacy statement. When we do, we will also revise the updated date at the top of this Privacy page. We encourage you to periodically review this privacy statement to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. This Privacy Policy is executed in English. You agree and acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy in English. To the extent that any translations of this Privacy Policy are provided, they are solely for convenience and of no binding effect. The English language version of this Privacy Policy shall control.
